Waiver and Release of Liability

I understand LLE is not a drop off center and I (Legal Guardian) MUST remain on campus with student. *

I understand, Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their children before and after class times unless otherwise stated for a specific program.*

Students and families are expected to treat staff, instructors, vendors, fellow students, and facilities with kindness and respect.*

I, the undersigned parent/guardian, understand that participation in classes, activities, events, field trips, workshops, recreational programs, and use of facilities through Larsen Lighthouse Enrichment Center may involve certain risks, including but not limited to physical activity, use of educational materials, crafts, science projects, outdoor activities, and interactions with other participants.

I voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with my child’s participation.*

I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Larsen Lighthouse Enrichment Center, its owners, directors, staff, volunteers, vendors, instructors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, costs, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, illness, loss, accident, or damage that may occur during participation in enrichment center activities, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.*

In the event of an emergency, I authorize Larsen Lighthouse Enrichment Center staff to secure emergency medical treatment for my child if I cannot be reached immediately. I understand that I am financially responsible for any medical expenses incurred.*

I understand that students are expected to follow safety rules, respect staff and peers, and participate appropriately. Larsen Lighthouse Enrichment Center reserves the right to dismiss any participant whose behavior is unsafe or disruptive without refund.*

I understand that some classes or events may be operated by independent vendors or instructors. Larsen Lighthouse Enrichment Center is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses arising from third-party services.*

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, actions, suits, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities, including attorney’s fees, that may result from my participation in the activity.*

I agree not to make any claim or commence any legal action against the Released Parties for any loss, injury, damage, or death arising from my participation at The Larsen Lighthouse Enrichemnt.*

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of California.*

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties with respect to the subject matter and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, or understandings.*

I have read this Liability Waiver and fully understand its terms. I understand that I am giving up substantial legal rights, including my right to sue. I sign this agreement freely and voluntarily.*
